EPL is Epsilon Polylysine EPL HCL is Epsilon Polylysine HCL.
EPL and EPL.HCL have different CAS: EPL CAS:25104-18-1 EPL.HCL CAS:28211-04-03
EPL only have light yellow,but EPL.HCL has two colors:light yellow and white,normal our is white.
the PH of EPL is 7.5-9.5,but EPL. HCL is 2.5-5.5 on picture above, so their effects will be better in corresponding PH of end-product.
So some company use EPL. HCL as EPL,because of the same color,different cas. But you can test the PH for identify.
EPL is highly hygroscopic and easy to agglomerate, but it does not affect its use (just smash or crush it).The EPL.HCL not.
